Big Bass Boxing Bonus RoundOur commitment: gambling is entertainment, not income
Most people who play at Slots Charm Casino do so for fun, with money they are comfortable spending. We want it to stay that way, so safer gambling is part of how we run the site rather than something added at the end.
Gambling is a form of entertainment. It is not a way to earn an income, to win back money you have already lost, or to cope with stress. Every game we offer is decided by chance, the odds favour the house over time, and no staking pattern or system changes that. Treat what you stake as the price of the entertainment, and expect not to get it back.
- Decide on a budget before you deposit, and stop when you reach it.
- Set a limit on time as well as money; long sessions make it harder to think clearly.
- Never chase losses by raising your stakes or depositing again to win money back.
- Keep gambling money separate from money needed for rent, bills, food, travel or credit repayments.
- Avoid playing when you are upset, bored, under pressure or have been drinking.
18+ only
You must be 18 or over to open an account or place a stake with us. We hold a gaming licence and verify the age and identity of every customer. Underage gambling is an offence; if we find that an account belongs to someone under 18 we close it, return stakes and void any winnings.
The tools in your account and how to switch them on
Every tool below is free and sits in the safer gambling area of your account, where you can switch it on at any time without speaking to us first. You do not need to give a reason, and we will never ask you to justify a limit or offer you an incentive to lift one.
| Tool | What it does | When it takes effect |
|---|---|---|
| Deposit limit | Caps what you can pay in across a day, a week or a month. | A lower limit applies straight away; a higher one only after the cooling-off period shown on screen. |
| Loss limit | Caps how much you can lose in the period you choose, after which play stops. | Reductions apply at once, increases after the same cooling-off period. |
| Session limit | Ends your session once the length of time you set has passed. | From your next sign-in. |
| Reality check | Shows a reminder of how long you have played and how you stand. | At the interval you pick. |
| Time-out | Locks your account for a short break of the length you select. | Immediately, and it cannot be lifted early. |
| Self-exclusion | Closes your account to play for a longer fixed period. | Immediately, for at least the shortest term offered in the tool. |
How to set or change a limit
- Sign in and open the safer gambling section of your account.
- Choose the tool you want: a deposit, loss or session limit, a reality check, a time-out or self-exclusion.
- Pick the amount or length of time, and the period it should cover.
- Confirm the change; the screen tells you when it starts.
- Check your active limits in your account whenever you like, and lower them at any point.
Time-outs and self-exclusion
A time-out suits a short break. While it runs you cannot deposit or play, you will not receive promotional messages from us, and the account reopens on its own when the period ends. Self-exclusion is for a longer and firmer break. Once it is in place we close your account to play for at least the shortest term offered in the tool, remove you from marketing, and will not reopen it before that term has ended. Even then, access is not automatic: you have to ask us, and a further waiting period applies. Any balance left in a closed or excluded account is returned to you by the method set out in the cashier.
If you are unsure which tool fits, our live chat team can explain the options and set a limit with you, or you can write to support@casinoslotscharm.co.uk. We act on a request to self-exclude as soon as we receive it, whichever route you use.
Signs that gambling may be becoming a problem
Problems tend to build gradually. The questions below are not a diagnosis, but if you answer yes to any of them it is worth pausing and using the tools above.
- Do you play for longer or deposit more than you planned to?
- Have you borrowed money, sold possessions or used bill money to gamble?
- Do you gamble to win back losses, or to escape worry or low mood?
- Have you been less than honest with family, friends or colleagues about how much you play?
- Has gambling caused you to miss work, study or time with the people close to you?
- Do you feel restless or irritable when you try to cut down?
- Do you think about gambling while you are doing other things?
- Have other people told you they are concerned about your gambling?
If several of these sound familiar, set a time-out or self-exclude and speak to one of the organisations below. Support is free, and you do not have to be in crisis to use it.
Where to get free, confidential help
The organisations below are not part of our business, and their help costs nothing and stays confidential. You can contact them whether you are worried about your own gambling or about someone else's.
- GambleAware funds and signposts free information, advice and treatment for gambling harm in Great Britain, including self-help material and a directory of local services.
- GamCare is a charity offering free counselling, group support and practical guidance for anyone affected by gambling, in person, by phone and online, and it runs the National Gambling Helpline.
